Our Story
How We Got Started
Our Artistic Director and Owner, Karen Mallinson, is proud to be part of the incredible community of Sun Peaks, B.C. We are thrilled to bring the joy of dance to the mountains.
Since opening in 2018, Sun Peaks Academy of Dance has continued to grow and is truly one of a kind — where else can you ski to dance class? From our unique mountain atmosphere to our professional instruction, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to give our dancers the best possible experience.
Come learn with the best at Sun Peaks Academy of Dance. We offer classes for ages 0–99 because we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to dance in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our instructors are personable, experienced, and fully certified to teach dancers of all ages and levels.
